Change in registered name to Pharos Energy plc

Following the Company’s announcement earlier today on the passing of the special resolution to change the registered name of the Company to Pharos Energy plc, the Company now confirms that the change has become effective through issue by the Registrar of Companies of the corresponding certificate of incorporation on change of name.

The change of name has been notified to the Financial Conduct Authority and the London Stock Exchange, and trading in the Company’s shares under the new name and ticker symbol “PHAR” is expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. tomorrow, 17 October 2019. The Company will make a further announcement tomorrow morning when the new ticker symbol is active.

As stated in the circular to shareholders dated 27 September 2019 in connection with the change of name, the Company intends to change the domain name of its principal corporate website to www.pharos.energy. A separate announcement to this effect will follow in due course.

Shareholdings in the Company will be unaffected by the change of name and existing share certificates issued by the Company should be retained as they will remain valid for all purposes. Any new share certificates issued by the Company will bear the new name.
