1. Information we may collect from you

1.1 information that you provide by filling in forms on the Site. This includes information provided at the time of registration on the Site for email updates, recruitment information requests, raising enquiries or requests for further information.  We may also request information if you report a problem with the Site;

1.3 details of your visits to the Site, including but not limited to traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own purposes or otherwise, and the resources that you access

4. Where we store your personal data

4.1 Although our Site is hosted in the UK, the data that we collect from you may be transferred and stored at a destination outside the EEA. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in responding to your queries or complaints or sending you updates which you have subscribed to.  By submitting your personal data, you are agreeing to this transfer, storing and processing.  We will take all reasonable steps necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy.

6.1 We may disclose your personal information to any member of the Pharos Group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries as defined in s.1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

6.2.2 in the event that we sell or buy any business or its assets, in which case the prospective buyer or seller may receive your data;

6.2.3 if Pharos, or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data will be one of the transferred assets; and

6.2.4 If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Website Terms of Use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property or safety of Pharos or other interested parties. 6.2.5 We do not collect information with an intention to sell it to unconnected third parties, however if the events in 6.2.3 occur details of our Site users would be part of any sale of the business.

7. Your rights

7.1 We are required to comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1988. This provides amongst other things that the data we hold about you should be processed lawfully and fairly. It should be accurate, relevant and not excessive. The information should be kept up to date, where necessary, and not retained for longer than is necessary. It should be kept securely to prevent unauthorised access by other people.

7.2 From time to time our Site may contain links to and from other third party websites. If you follow a link to these websites please note that they will have their own privacy notices and polices, that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for.

You have the right to see what is held about you and for any inaccuracies to be corrected. Please contact us if you wish to make a data access request. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with the details of the information we hold about you.
